I always laugh at the way we pretend we’re in control of our lives. Not in a dark “nothing matters” way — more in that “wow, the universe really had jokes this year” way. Because 2025 wasn’t the year I planned for. It wasn’t even the year I half-planned-for-in-a-notes-app-while-procrastinating-my-to-do-list. It was the year that cracked open the version of myself I thought I was supposed to be… and introduced me to the version I actually like.
